Laki Laki is a start-up social venture based in Kenya. Laki Laki produces and sells top quality yoghurt drinks for the top-end market. The milk that Laki Laki uses comes from a children’s home. By buying Laki Laki the customer contributes to a better life of orphaned children.

Laki Laki is looking for a:

Sales and Marketing Manager

Tasks/Goals:
– Increasing sales volume
– Developing marketing-, sales- and pricing strategy
– Developing new marketing concepts and materials
– Managing sales team
– Contracting lodges and hotels
– Identify new points of sale
– Build up brand awareness with target groups
– Developing sales forecasts for production
– Customer relations management

Requirements:
–Bachelor/Master degree in a business related study (e.g. Marketing)
– 1-5 years work experience in sales and marketing
– Willing to live in Thika (near factory and orphanage)
– Able to drive by car independently in Nairobi
– Fluently English (spoken/written)
– Eager to learn Kiswahili
– Preferably experience in the hotel industry
– Preferably knowledge of Kenyan culture
– Engagement for the work of children’s homes in Kenya

Conditions:
– Assignment at least for 1 year
– 40 hour contract
– Basic salary: $ 1500 a month
– Expenses for traveling and telephone for work usage will be compensated
– Rewarding system on sales
– Option of becoming shareholder in the future
– Direct report to Dutch Director
